The Medway Cloth Nappy Network started in August 2006, with monthly ‘nappucinos’ in Chatham. The MCNN is a group of parents who are using or planning to use cloth nappies and is a support network, where we can share advice, experiences and ideas. Come and join us!

Aims of The Medway Cloth Nappy Network

The MCNN is a parent-led group, set up in August 2006 by volunteers who are keen to spread the word about cloth nappies. Group meetings are supported by Medway Council and we work in partnership with the Medway NCT on a number of projects and events. The MCNN’s aims are non-commercial and are listed below.

> Providing information to parents and carers in Medway about the different nappy options available to them. Our website offers information and links to further resources.

> Helping parents and carers of babies and toddlers to make informed choices

> Supporting parents and carers in Medway who are using cloth nappies and helping to overcome problems they encounter along the way

> Acting responsibly to safeguard the environment for the future of our children

> Offering opportunities for parents and carers to see and try a range of cloth nappies

> Holding monthly nappucino mornings, where parents and carers can meet and find out more

> Supporting and promoting Medway Council’s nappy incentive scheme

> Sharing experiences and having fun!

We’ll be celebrating our 5th birthday at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic on 9th July!
